KKV GBG is a non-profit association located in the historic Klippan area of Gothenburg. Housed in the upper floors of a former sugar refinery, it was founded in 1974 by a group of artists with the support of the city. Today, the association boasts around 550 professional members, including artists, designers, and architects.

KKV GBG provides its members with access to 18 specialized workshops, enabling them to create artistic works, prototypes, and commissions. Many public artworks found in Gothenburg and the Västra Götaland region have been crafted within these facilities. In addition to the workshops, KKV GBG also offers studio spaces for larger projects.

The wide range of workshops available includes those for casting (bronze, aluminum), electronics, enamel, glasswork, metal, textile printing and patina, woodworking, and screen printing, among others. Members can also access advanced equipment such as a laser cutter, vinyl cutter, tufting tools, and lithographic printers.

This unique creative hub continues to be an important resource for artists and designers, fostering collaboration and craftsmanship in the region.
